The first Track, opened in June 2013, is the more characteristic of the San Martino Bike Arena. An astonishing and spectacular line, that develops itself along the woods and the meadowses which encircle the legendary Tognola Uno ski Slope, in front of the Pale di San Martino Dolomites. An easy and fun Track, with always avoidable harder pieces thanks to the specific chicken lines. Two gorgeous wooden Parabolic wooden turn, a breath-taking Wall Ride and various wooden structures make the whole track varying and extremely fun!
The new line Tognola Back in Black is the second track of the San Martino Bike Arena, open from July 2015. Steeper and more demanding than the other variation Tognola Abbey Road, this new track comes down under the line of the Tognola Cableway, towards the direction of the “Walls” of the Tognola Uno Ski Slopes, in the direction of Malga Crel. The new track is boasted with 7 wooden structures and a bridge to cross the road in the fila part. everything made to ad some adrenalin to the Gravity offer of the San Martino Bike Arena!
Opened during the summer 2014, it the natural ending of the Thriller line. This is a more gentle and flat, that develops itself alogn the woods of the winter ski slope Tognola Tre.
In the first part, the funny humps are the principal elements of this line, leaving the scene to some zigzags which ends at the lower terminal of the Tognola Cableway.
San Martino Bike Arena is enriched by a brand new downhill track that will complement the already existing offer.
The new trail, Final Fantasy, will indeed be a flow line. Characterized by daring jumps, gaps, drops, and parabolic turns, its construction aims to challenge and stimulate cyclists of every level.
The Valsorda is a small valley that connects the Alpe Tognola to the nearby Valle del Vanoi in a south-westerly direction, just in front of the imposing massif of Cima d’Asta. Located partly within the territory of the Natural Park “Paneveggio – Pale di San Martino”, it is an environment of rare beauty in which are located many paths, perfect to be followed during the summer, by bicycle or just hiking.
Historical passage of the stage of the famous Bike Transalp “San Martino di Castrozza – Crespano del Grappa”, part of the path was completely rearranged during the summer of 2013 and offers the Bikers unique features in the area, such as the presence of wooden walkways over the marshy areas together with an excellent flow. After the first common stretch of the trail, there are three different possibilities to reach the Vanoi Valley.
Valsorda Enduro Trail – Malga Fiamena is a very varied and fun Enduro track, which requires good training. From the arrival of the Tognola cableway at 2200 m asl, follow the forest white road to Malga Tognola, at 1988 m asl. From here, until you reach the small forestry house of Valsorda. The path has recently been arranged and equipped with wooden walkways in order to cross the swampy areas, before entering the woods of Valsorda having fun on an excellent flow. From the small forestry house, go up towards Malga Valsorda (1918 a.s.l.) following the forest white road until you reach the Valsorda Pass (2094 a.s.l.) along path 390. This section is quite challenging, as you will need to carry your bike by hand for about 20 minutes, until you reach the fork. From here, continue along the coast to the right following an ancient path, which at times almost disappeares, but still evident, that runs along the ridge of the mountain. After about half an hour, the beautiful descent to Malga Fiamena (1752 a.s.l.) begins, from which you return following the forest white road towards the junction with Malga Boalon (1686 a.s.l.) and then Zortea (1030 a.s.l.).
Valsorda Enduro Trail – Val Zortei is a very varied and fun Enduro track, which requires good training. From the arrival of the Tognola cableway at 2200 m asl, follow the forestw white road to Malga Tognola, at 1988 m asl. From here, until you reach the forest house of Valsorda, the path has recently been arranged and equipped with wooden walkways to cross the swampy areas, before entering the woods of Valsorda having fun on an excellent flow.
From the small forestry house, go up towards Malga Valsorda (1918 a.s.l.) following the forest white road until you reach the Valsorda pass (2094 a.s.l.) along path 390. This section is quite challenging, as you will need to carry your bike by hand for about 20 minutes, until you reach the saddle.
From here, after a crossroads, on the left, follow path 344, descending to Zortea (1030 a.s.l.).
Valsorda Classic is an Enduro track that has been completely restored in autumn 2013 which from Alpe Tognola descends towards Caoria and the Vanoi valley along the Scandola meadows and the Masi di Tognola.
From the top teminal of the Tognola cableway at 2200 m asl, follow the forest white road to Malga Tognola, at 1988 m asl.
From here, until you reach the forest house of Valsorda, the path has recently been arranged and equipped with wooden walkways to cross the swampy areas, before entering the woods of Valsorda having fun on an excellent flow.
From the small forestry house, continue along the forest road in the direction of Caoria.
The Valcigolera is a lateral valley that from Alpe Tognola develops in the north-west direction, towards the nearby Lagorai Peaks. A true paradise for freeriding during the winter, it offers also in summer a very varied and enjoyable selection of routes to take with your own Mountain Bike or with an Enduro / XC bike.
Compared to the nearby Valsorda, the bike paths of Valcigolera allow you to close a loop in just about 2 hours returning to San Martino di Castrozza or to the parking lot of the cableway Tognola.
Attention: the Valcigolera is located in the heart of the Paneveggio – Pale di San Martino Nature Park! In order to cycle along its paths, you must be together with a local qualified Cycling Guide.
The Valcigolera Enduro Trail is a varied and fun medium level tour that allows you to explore the Valcigolera starting from Alpe Tognola.
Once off the Tognola cableway, descend along the forest road along the Rododendro slope, following the signs for Malga Tognola. Once you reach the Malga, continue until you cross the line of the Rododendro chairlift, where you turn left following the signs heading to Malga Valcigolera and passing near the lower terminal of the new Cigolera chairlift. A few meters later, at the fork turn left again towards Malga Valcigolera and follow the path that runs along the ridge of the mountain for about 45 minutes, between funny ups and downs.
Once you reach the Malga Valcigolera, go up towards the Coston following the Sentiero della Pace (Peace Trail), and follow the entire ridge of the Skiweg of the Rekord slope until you reach the starting point of the Sentiero del Cervo (Deer Trail), which descends in the direction of Malga Ces. Just before the Malga, at the fork turn right and follow the signs for San Martino di Castrozza and then for the car park of the Tognola cableway, closing so the ring tour.

After a morning of fun in the Park with friends you always need a break to recharge your batteries and be ready for an adrenaline afternoon.
The Bikers Village “Campo Base” is the right place to find quick, appetizing and tasty food. You can find it near the lower terminal of the Tognola Cableway.
The “Campo Base” Bikers’ Village offers what every biker needs: Bike Bar with customized sandwiches and proposals dedicated to the bikers, Free Wi-Fi zone to immediately share the photos taken in the Park with your friends, large terrace with areas dedicated to relaxation between the runs. Just a few steps away you will also find the rental and shop “Bike SkiSport” and the bike wash.
Recharge your batteries and then return back to the Park to having fun, then at the end of the day, while you wait for your bike to dry up after having cleaned it from the mud and soil you have grounded during the day, you can enjoy a cold beer or a drink with friends in the Chill Area on the terrace of the Bikers Village, in front of the breathtaking spectacle of the sunset over the Pale di San Martino.

Outside the lower terminal of the Tognola Cableway, a few steps from the Campo Base Bikers Village is located the “SkiSport Bike Rental“, where you can find a wide range of Mountain Bikes and Bikes from Downhill / Enduro to use in Bike Park or along the beautiful trails that surround Tognola and San Martino di Castrozza.
Scott and Dartmoor bikes are available for rent, to meet the needs of all bikers. Together with the bike rental are also provided a helmet and basic protections, recommended to access the Park. Individual protections are also available for hire, helmets, gloves and masks.
Bikes can only be booked by e-mail by contacting the Skisport salepoint via info@noleggiskisport.it. Reservations made by phone or by writing to our social channels will not be considered valid.
Reservations are valid until 9.30 am: if the holder of the reservation does not show up, the reservation lapses and the bike will be regularly rented in response to new requests without any possibility of complaint.
